Official Headliners For 2024 Essence Fest

Its eclectic mix of culture envelops the city’s famed streets from Canal down to Bourbon. Beautiful ‘Yat’ accents of its colorful locals are another part of its decadent motif. There’s also the food… mouthwatering gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and beignets, which are just a few of its world-renowned staples. New Orleans is truly a vibe. It is also home to Birdman, aka Baby and CEO of Cash Money Records, who is set to headline this year’s Essence Fest.

Essence recently broke the news to its 3.4 Million followers that Cash Money will be celebrating its 30th anniversary alongside theirs! A legendary time will be had as other A-list acts like Usher, Janet Jackson, and Frankie Beverly make their way to the Big Easy July 4th weekend.

In its 30-year history, Essence Fest has produced innumerable experiences met with professed adoration for the spaces it creates for Black women. Cultural gems like Tabitha Brown and Kelly Rowland took center stage at last year’s panel sessions. Significant brand activations sponsored by Target, Disney, and Shea Moisture gave attendees free products and access to performances by Amerie, Bia, and more throughout the day.

Over 500,000 attendees are expected to pour in for the 4-day festival this year. Additional notable performers set to perform are Raphael Saddiq, The Roots, and Ayra Starr.
