Queen Bey broke the internet again after announcing her World Tour for Renaissance on IG. We all knew it was coming, and in true Bey fashion, she conveniently delivered the news on the first day of Black History Month, leaving everyone speechless. It didn’t take long for Twitter and memes to start rolling in with jokes about tax season being right on time or second-guessing holding off on rent until tickets are secured. The last time the singer was on tour was back in 2016, with the release of her “Lemonade” album. When she released Act 1 of the Renaissance album in July of 2022, there were rumors about a tour starting to make its rounds, but no one knew what to expect. However, at the end of January, news circulated that she would perform at a private concert held in Dubai, which had everyone on edge. Once posts started popping up with glimpses of what type of energy was being given, it was a done deal. From what we could see, the performance was flawless. Still, she was putting the vocals to work…top tier… snatching edges left and right—a clear indication when everyone began giving their rendition of runs from the performance as you scrolled up and down your feed.
We expect this world tour to be one for the books. After all, she has yet to give us an underwhelming performance. Hopefully, you’ve been saving those coins to enjoy the experience. Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour makes its debut in the States this July. Fans have been excitedly anxious to see Bey in person, so much so that Ticketmaster has recorded an unprecedented number of registrations from eager fans who want access to the tour’s presale tickets. Bey’s team ushered in a lottery system to pick lucky winners to make their purchases.
